I cofounded this mentorship program to bring together blind students in STEM and provides tools for success. To date, there have been 40 matched participants/mentees across 3 countries.

I served as representative for Engineering and Applied Sciences Division as well as a member of the Advocacy and Diversity Sub-Committee from 2018 to 2020.
I was selected by the President of Caltech to be student representative for the faculty committee tasked with increasing student body diversity and rewriting graduate admissions policies. This work involved extensive analysis of past admissions data and policies from other institutions and resulted in a published white paper and a newly implemented admissions protocol by the university. As a member of this committee, I was tasked with making recommendations for university and k-12 physics lab accessibility. We published one white paper on this subject after thorough research on best practices for accessibility and education for disabled students. [Read the report]
In addition to assembling a team, coaching practices, and organizing the race logistics and schedule, I also organized and coordinated a 3-race series in 2020 that involved 100 participants from 11 schools.
While working at LBNL, I was a member of the lab-wide Employee Accessibility Committee, I was the Climate and Ecosystem Science Division Represenative for Diversity and Inclusion, and I was the DEI Representative for the Dept of Energy External Review Committee.
